May 22, 2010 Update...

The first 18 photos feature Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Water Park and its newest attraction, TORNADO, opening to the public on Saturday, May 29, 2010:

First, lets take a look at some overview shots:

Now we'll delve into the details of TORNADO as it nears completion:

It looks as though the park has quite a bit of finishing touches to complete before the Media Day event on May 27th, though I have no doubt they will pull this off without a hitch....

And last up on our tour of Hurricane Harbor, the "Taak It Eez Ee Creek's" first major traffic jam of the year:

Now for some general areas of the theme park. Not a bad crowd today, with many buses:

Saw Mill Log Flume:

Bizarro floor-less coaster:

And last but not least, Six Flags Great Adventure's "Bone Yard" of defunct rides from yesteryear....See if you can spot any that you remember riding:

Thanks for Flying along and as always, I hope you've enjoyed the view from above !!!

Happy New Year - January 16, 2010 Update...

First, let's take a look at Hurricane Harbor:

If you look carefully at the right of the photo along the road, the parts that will eventually becom the NEW Tornado attraction at the park can be seen:

Tornado parts in greater detail:

Now let's take a look at Great Adventure Theme Park. Have fun spotting anything NEW, as the only thing I can find is the work being performed on Twister. Two cranes look to have the ride dismantled....

This photo shows the two cranes working on Twister (center):

A portion of Prospertown Lake adjacent to Great Adventure; this is where the Water Shows are staged as well as the barges for the Fireworks:

I hope you've Enjoyed the Photos....See you on the next Great Adventure Fly-Over !!!
